Submissions for the sixth edition of the Felix Schoeller Award (established by the Felix Schoeller Group in 2013) are now open: until January 15, 2023, professional photographers from around the world are able to enter their work in the categories of Portrait, Photojournalism, and Sustainability – each endowed with 5000 euros.
In addition, the contest includes a ‘Best Work by an Emerging Photographer’ category, aimed specifically at talented student and trainee photographers. This newcomer award is thematically unrestricted, and also endowed with 5000 euros.
Since 2019, the Felix Schoeller Group – together with the Peace City Osnabrück – has also been awarding the German Peace Prize: the highly prestigious, 10,000-euro award is designed to honour projects addressing the topic of ‘peace’ through the medium of photography.
