The 2021 edition of the Felix Schoeller Photo Award is divided into two categories: German Peace Prize for Photography, and Best Work by an Emerging Photographer. Submissions are accepted from January 1 to May 31, 2021.
The German Peace Prize for Photography is organised in collaboration with Osnabrück, known as the ‘City of Peace’; the award is open to professional photographers, with the winner receiving €10,000.
Established in 2013, the Felix Schoeller Photo Award also places a strong focus on supporting promising new talent. The winner in this category stands to receive € 2,500. In addition, all nominees in the Emerging Photographer category will receive an exclusive online session with a jury member to discuss their work. The 2021 Emerging Photographer Award is supported by CAPTURE X.
