New leica Gallery in Düsseldorf

The new Leica Store and Leica Gallery in Düsseldorf celebrate their official opening on November 21, 2019 with an exhibition by German fashion and portrait photographer Joachim Baldauf.
The site is located in the Kö-Galerie on Königsallee, the famous, luxury shopping street. The gallery’s head curator, photographer Samuele Martino, aims to create a venue where photography can become experiential. The programme opens with Gehirnstürme, an exhibition of pictures by Joachim Baldauf, one of the most influential fashion and portrait photographers. His images reflect everything our cultural circle has to offer as far as aesthetics, beauty, character and humour are concerned. Concentrating on people, fashion, objects, spaces and colours, Baldauf’s photographs have been published in countless national and international magazines and campaigns.
Recently Baldauf produced a Digital Feature for the Leica S Magazine.
The show Gehirnstürme will remain on display at the new venue in Düsseldorf up until February 29, 2020.
