With his new series “SEXSHINE STATE” Felix Kleymann gives a rare insight in the porn industry. Motivated by a critical examination of one-sided clichés, the photographer finally gets into the everyday world of a young porn star.
The everyday closeness to porn production gives him the necessary distance to show the industry from a different angle. Free from the polarization of an inhumane machinery or a moralization of the mass dissemination, he approaches the topic from the perspective of everyday life.
For this project Felix Kleymann used a Leica Monochrom from the LFI loanpool.
