How pictures tell stories

The German Photographic Society (DGPh) is organizing a symposium on June 12, 2015, in collaboration with the Hanover High School.
In collaboration with the Photo Journalism and Documentary Photography department of the Hanover High School, the scientific and technical division of the German Photography Society (DGPh) is organizing a symposium on June 12, 2015. Covering the theme of how pictures tell stories, it will take place at Planet M in the grounds of the Hanover Expo.

What story do we want to tell? How do we do it? What do we do it with? Why do we do it? How credible are our picture stories? These are the questions that the speakers will be dealing with during the symposium.

Among other things, the programme includes presentations about photo reportage, travel photography and photo books.
