The winner of this year’s award, which carries a cash prize of 30,000 British Pounds, was announced in the course of an online presentation at the Photographers’ Gallery in London.

The jury members of the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2020 were Martin Barnes (Senior Curator of Photographs at the Victoria and Albert Museum), Melanie Manchot (London-based artist and photographer), Joachim Naudts (Curator at the FOMU Foto Museum in Antwerp), Anne-Marie Beckmann (Director of the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation, Frankfurt am Main), and Brett Rogers (Director of The Photographers' Gallery) in the position of non-voting chair.
