Born 1966 in Glasgow, David Yarrow took up photography at an early age. As a 20-year-old, he found himself covering the 1986 World Cup Final in Mexico City on assignment for The London Times. This was the day when he captured the legendary picture of Diego Maradona lifting the World Cup in palpable triumph. It was only many years later that Yarrow turned to fine-art photography, with a primary focus on wildlife and the environment – a decision that has proven to be career-defining.
