David Hornback (b. 1962) was still a teenager when he discovered his passion for photography. The Argus Fotokunst Gallery in Berlin currently presents excerpts from the resulting series, titled ‘Where the Hell is Wichita’.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Kansas, David Hornback spent 33 years as an editorial staff member at various publications in Jackson (Mississippi), West Palm Beach (Florida), Providence (Rhode Island), and San José (California). He has also worked as a freelance photographer in Berlin, Seville, Istanbul and Tucson, among others. David Hornback currently lives and works in Bilbao, Spain.
