The Copenhagen Photo Festival will take place for the ninth time from 7 to 17 June 2018. For one and a half weeks, the Danish capital will devote itself entirely to photography, and familiar and surprising locations will be presented with exhibitions throughout the city. The heart of the festival is the "Photo City", near the Østre Gasværk Theater in Østerbro. In addition to the numerous exhibitions, Artist Talks, workshops, seminars and photo walks complete the extensive supporting program. A highlight of the festival are the works of Leica photographer Jessica Backhaus. During the festival, they will engage in an exciting dialogue with the work of Danish photographer Emil Salto.
In addition, exhibitions feature works by the following artists: Jan Grarup (Denmark), Alex Kay Potter (USA), Alessandro Rota (Italy), André Liohn (Norway / Brazil), Andrea DiCenzo (USA), Andrew McConnell (Ireland), Andoni Lubaki (Spain), Charles Thiefaine (France), Gabriel Romero (USA), João Castellano (Brazil), Juan Carlos (El Salvador), Nish Nalbandian (USA), Osie Greenway (USA), Yan Boechat (Brazil) and Quentin Bruno (Belgium).
