Azimut – A Photographic Journey

October 26, 2020

An unusual project by the Tendance Floue photographers collective is on show at the Musée Nicéphore Niépce in Chalon-sur-Saône until January 24, 2021.
Until January 24, 2021, the Musée Nicéphore Niépce in the French town of Chalon-sur-Saône hosts the exhibition ‘Azimut - A Photographic Journey’ with works by the Tendance Floue photographers collective. The showcase presents the first, highly diverse results of a six-month relay walk involving 15 of the collective’s members and 16 guest photographers. The idea behind this unprecedented journey was to wander without a specific aim, other than to roam and gather impressions along the way.

‘Azimut’ is derived from the Arab term ‘as-sumūt’, meaning ‘the path’. The participating photographers include Antoine Bruy, Mat Jacob, Stephane Lavoué, Léa Habourdin, Frédéric Stucin and Clémentine Schneidermann.
