Britain in 2020: Portrait of a Nation

London’s National Portrait Gallery has launched the documentary project ‘Hold Still’ – providing a collective snapshot of the UK in lockdown.
On May 7, 2020, the National Portrait Gallery launched the public project ‘Hold Still’. The open call will culminate in an online exhibition featuring 100 shortlisted images. Selected excerpts from the continuously growing collection will also be showcased in venues across the UK later in the year.

Participation is completely free, and open to all ages and abilities. All entered photographs must depict people, and can be captured on cameras or phones. Submissions close on June 18, 2020.
