Within the framework of Berlin Fashion Week, The Kennedys Museum in collaboration with KaDeWe, is presenting a special exhibition: The Kennedys – Timeless Fashion Icons. With over 60 impressive vintage photographs taken by artists such as Phil Stern, Orlando Suero and Steve Schapiro, some of the First Family's original items of clothing, rare newspapers cuttings from the sixties till today, as well as film material, the theme of this special exhibition is the Kennedy family's fashion consciousness.
The Kennedy influence on fashion, also in political spheres, is immense. Even today's viewer will be impressed by the stylistic timelessness captured in photographs and on film, reflected in the family's overall appearance and, most particularly, is their noticeably classic way of dressing.
