The Ostkreuz Photo Agency in Berlin is offering professional preparation workshops from June 8 to 10 and from September 21 to 23, 2016. The courses are directed at graduates and photography students, and will show them what kind of things to expect from professional photography and how to deal with the typical challenges that arise. “How can I negotiate a good fee? How can I get assignments? How do I sharpen up my profile?”
These and other questions will be dealt with during the three days courses. The themes range from copyright questions and profiling, to earning money on the international photo market. Betty Fink (photo project manager), Christian Pankratz (photo editor) and Ostkreuz photographers will run the workshops.
Since its foundation in 1990, the Ostkreuz Photo Agency has acquired international renown thanks to its publications and exhibitions and, together with the Ostkreuz school, is considered one of Germany’s most significant photographer sources.
