This year, the exhibition of works produced by Marc Volk's graduates is titled So oder So (One way or another), and should be seen as a playful response to the previous exhibition of final year assignments, titled Sowieso (Anyway).
The eight graduates will be presenting their independent photographic projects, developed over the past three semesters, in the school's generous gallery space. The works deal with the theme of social context, and take a look at manifestations of past and present structures from the perspective of medial influences.
Once again, very subjective approaches are included, as well as the debate with phenomena of nature all the way to staged photography. Thanks to the diverse ways of working, the exhibition reveals many forms of surprising and multi-layered imagery.
