From January 20 to April 2, 2016, the exhibition 'Personalities' with works by Swiss photographer Michel Comte will be showing at the Galerie 206 in Berlin. First discovered by Karl Lagerfeld, Comte (*1954) went on to become one of most influential photographers of our time – known especially for his fashion photographs shot for Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ.
Formative Images from the Nineties
In this exhibition, the photographer relays encounters with his subjects in a unique visual style, always leaving space for the viewer to interpret the situation. 'Personalities' comprises a selection of influential images taken during the nineties, which have already become classic icons of fashion photography.
