Renowned German art collector Heiner Wemhöner presents a previously unseen facet of his collection: the exhibition Satisfy Me, featuring works by artists such as Stephan Balkenhol, Roger Ballen, Duan Michals, Andreas Mühe, Helmut Newton and Yang Fudong, will be on display at Berlin’s Kunstsaele Gallery from 3 February to 31 March 2018.
The showcase not only addresses the aesthetics of the naked human body – a topic which for centuries has been the subject of societal tabus, standardised expectations, and controversy – but also explores the omnipresence of nudity in the modern media of our increasingly exhibitionist society.
