Starting November 28, the hiltawsky gallery in Berlin is presenting the exhibition Kate Moss: The Icon. It includes portraits taken of Moss by famous photographers, such as Chris Levine and Albert Watson. Kate Moss is an undisputed icon of today, who was discovered in 1988 when she was 14 years old, by Sarah Doukas, founder of the Storm Agency in New York. That same year, Moss signed a contract with Calvin Klein, promoting the brand's underwear in print media and on posters.
A picture icon
As of the early nineties, Kate Moss became one of a small group of super models that included Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. Moss has been on the cover of all relevant fashion magazines and has worked with the most important photographers of today. Despite a number of scandals, Kate Moss has become one of the world's most prominent, modern-day icons.
