Open from 20 May to 31 August 2017, the exhibition comprises 13 series, created predominantly by artists whose work has been presented at the gallery’s new premises in Berlin since its move from Hamburg in October 2014. Encompassing a total of 42 images, the show takes the viewer on a fascinating journey – both through the world of photography as well as to a variety of different cities and continents. The juxtaposition of reality and orchestration, documentation and subjective imagery form the basis of this extraordinary selection.
The represented artists are Loïc Bréard, Arve Dinda, Inessa Dolinskaia, Herbert Dombrowski, Dana Gluckstein, Ara Güler, Walde Huth, Mario Marino, Neal McQueen, Bill Perlmutter, Schilte & Portielje, Wolf Suschitzky and Stephan Vanfleteren.
