Starting May 17, 2014, Camera Work Gallery in Berlin is presenting Brian Duffy's artistic work "David Bowie – Aladdin Sane (Eyes Open)"
Starting May 17, 2014, Camera Work is presenting Brian Duffy's artistic work David BowieAladdin Sane (Eyes Open), which was signed by Bowie himself, for the first time worldwide. The work, that was produced in 1973 during the photo shoot for the cover of the conceptual album with the same title, first appeared in 2011 in the book Any Day Now: David Bowie the London Years: 1947-1974 published by David Bowie expert Kevin Cann.

The David Bowie is exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London used the piece as the show's figure head, turning it into the world's most sought-after piece of art. In addition, it is also the main motif of an exhibition at Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin.

Signed by David Bowie, the work is available for the first time in an edition of 25 102x102 cm copies, exclusively at Camera Work and starting at 9,300 euros.
