Dreams and Disappointments

December 10, 2014

From December 19, 2014, to February 7, 2015, the Berlin gallery Wagner + Wagner is presenting the group exhibition 'Dreams and Disappointments'
Cities are living and commercial spaces. How can they be used as screens to project dreams or changes? What spaces – in the double sense of the word – do they make available? How does living in a small town or a big city change people?

These are the kinds of questions one Finnish and four German artists have been asking themselves. From December 19, 2014, to February 7, 2015, the Berlin gallery Wagner + Wagner is presenting the group exhibition Dreams and Disappointments, with works by Peter Bialobrzeski, Stefan Kürten, Jyrki Parantainen, Ina Weber and Thomas Wrede.

While the four German artists look at the architecture, with the city spaces brought to life by people, the eye of the Finnish photographer Jyrki Parantainen focusses directly on the people.
