Berlin's Camera Work gallery is currently showing an exclusive selection of nude and portrait photographs by Victoria's Secret photographer Russell James, many of which have never been shown. It is a consolidation of the most beautiful and erotic models the photographer has worked with during the past 15 years. The exhibition continues until 6 June 2015.
Beauty and Sensuality
The exhibition title suggests: these women are not of this world. Yet Russell does not limit himself to a mere depiction of his models, but rather captures their beauty as it is laid bare in an intimate moment, revealing their sensuality far from the world of Haute Couture, self-presentation and advertising messages. The exhibition is accompanied by a photo book of the same title, published by teNeues in 2014.
