To mark the venue’s 20th anniversary, a showcase of works by Hans Feurer will be on display at the Camera Work Gallery in Berlin from 15 July to 14 October 2017.
The Swiss artist, who ranks among the most influential fashion photographers of our time, will be represented with a selection of more than 25 photographs, including several large-format prints.

Born 1939 in Switzerland, Hans Feurer studied art before working as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director in the UK. During an extensive trip to South Africa in 1966 he developed a deep passion for photography, which subsequently prompted him to change careers. His international breakthrough happened as early as 1967, and was followed by publications in magazines such as Vogue, Numéro, Elle and Twen. His continuing work as a fashion photographer takes Feurer to the world’s most remote locations to this day.
