Peter Lindbergh

February 28, 2015

On 4 March 2015, Peter Lindbergh introduces his new book "Images of Women II" at the C/O Berlin.
Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevigne, Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss, Uma Thurman, Kate Winslet – they have all stood in front of his camera. Peter Lindbergh (born 1944 in Lezno) has captured the world's most beautiful women with a style that is so genuine and individual that it is virtually impossible to imitate. Authenticity is of uppermost importance as he breaks away from the artificial perfection and studied boredom of generic model poses, and so brings a new dynamic to fashion photography.

Peter Lindbergh's most recent book, the richly illustrated Images of Women II, encompasses a selection of 166 portrait and nude photographs created during the past ten years of Lindbergh's career.

Published by Schirmer/Mosel and designed by Spanish book designer Juan Gatti, Images of Women II also features essays and text contributions by film director Wim Wenders, art critic Werner Spies and renowned author Peter Handke, further enhancing the striking black and white images.
