Grand Opening

C/O Berlin opened its new premises on Thursday 30 October 2014. The gallery is now located in the Amerika Haus in Berlin-Charlottenburg, after almost two years without its own exhibition space.

The gallery celebrates the re-opening with four simultaneous exhibitions. The contact sheets of numerous legendary Magnum photographers will offer a unique insight into their way of working. Furthermore, Will McBride will be represented with a C/O premiere of his early Berlin photographs.

Yet another celebratory highlight is the world premiere of Picture Yourself. In specially constructed photo booths, visitors can let themselves be captured in the style of Magnum photographers. At the end of each session, your original Magnum portrait can either be taken home as a print, or digitally shared online.

With the series Arbeit am Mythos by Luise Schröder, the C/O Berlin also continues its Talents exhibition series, and so its role as a creative platform for up-and-coming international photography.
