Till Schaap Edition has published a photo book dedicated to water, with pictures by Leica photographer Beat Presser.
Aqua, a photo book with pictures by Beat Presser, has been produced by Till Schaap Edition. Published in both German and English, the book deals with Switzerland's most precious resource, water, and with frozen water, ice. Switzerland is considered Europe's water tank because the sources of many of Europe's most important rivers – the Rhine, Rhone, Po and Inn – are found in the Swiss Alps.

A homage to panorama images
Produced over a number of years, Beat Presser's photographic work is a homage to the wonderful element, water. Presser documents its journey from cloud to ice to water and back again. Using an analogue camera, the Basel photographer captures the beauty of this element – from mountain lakes and bulky chunks of ice, to frozen spray that has been whipped up by the wind on Lake Geneva.
