From 8 to 14 October, the town of Bayeux in Northern France will once again host the awards ceremony of the Prix Bayeux Calvados-Normandie, a prestigious award designed to honour the work of those reporting from war and conflict zones. This year’s jury will be headed by CNN’s chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour. In addition to the prize-giving ceremony, works by 350 photojournalists from all around the world – including acclaimed greats such as Yuri Kozyrev, Oscar B. Castillo or Shah Marai – will be displayed in the form of seven exhibitions. The programme also features events such as a book fair, meeting platforms and discussion rounds.
