The 8th Baie de Saint-Brieuc photo festival is set to take place from October 19 to November 1, 2019. This year’s edition will debut an Audience Award, introduced by newly appointed artistic director, Ferit Duzyol.
A team of experts headed by Magdalena Herrera, picture editor at GEO France, selected eight outstanding photo reportages for the festival’s exhibition programme. Legendary Leica photographer Sabine Weiss is among the represented artists, along with Camille Gharbi, Lucie Pastureau, Matt Stuart, Agnès Pataux, Pascal Maitre, Cyril Abad and Éric Pillot.
Works by the festival’s artists-in-residence, Vianney Le Caer and Florence Levillain, will also be on display.
