Photography enthusiasts are once again set to flock to Arles in the South of France for this year’s edition of Rencontres de la Photographie. For eight weeks, a programme of some 60 exhibitions, projections, panel discussions and artist talks will turn the city into an epicentre of international photography.
As always, the festival is dedicated to showcasing a diverse spectrum of visual approaches; the represented artists range from classic masters (including Helen Levitt, Susan Meiselas, Tom Wood and Eve Arnold) to newcomers and emerging young talents.
An on-site Leica pop-up store offers visitors the opportunity to rent or purchase Leica camera equipment. In addition, Leica also offer a workshop led by award-winning photographer Tomas van Houtryve, which takes place on 2 and 3 July.
