From July 4 to September 26, 2021, the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation in Arles contemplates life forms in a state of uncertainty and transformation.

Under the title Échos Système, the group exhibition at the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation focuses on life forms that have not settled into a state of stability, but are in a process of transformation or mutation. Using a variety of different approaches, the represented artists address contemporary themes ranging from memory and migration to feminism and decolonisation.

The showcase features photographs by Mathias Benguigui, Jean Christian Bourcart, Jérôme Cortie, Hoël Duret, Alberto Giuliani, Elsa Leydier, Philip Montgomery, Manuel Rivera-Ortiz, Niina Vatanen, Anno Wilms, Barbara Wolff, and members of the LesAssociés collective – as well as works drawn from the ParisBerlin> fotogroup association, the Chaussee 36 cultural centre, and the collection of the Archive of Modern Conflict (AMC).
