The Blue Sky Gallery in Oregon, USA, presents three photographic reflections on the topic of migration and identity. On show until January 30, 2021.
The Blue Sky Gallery in Oregon, USA, currently presents the exhibition ‘Women of the African Diaspora: Identity, Place, Migration, and Immigration’ – featuring works by Haitian photography artist Widline Cadet, New-York-based photographer Jasmine Clarke and visual artist Nadiya Imani Loyisa Ntlabati Nacorda.

In the context of this showcase, which was curated by Aaron Turner, the three artist reflect on their experiences as women of the African Diaspora navigating contemporary life in the United States and beyond. At the same time, they also contribute to the larger conversation surrounding inclusion and exclusion within the visual narrative of art history.
