Tourism is an intensively growing trend these days. Many towns and cities and even countries live on it. Even highly developed and industrial countries try to make a great part of their income on tourism. It is both good and bad. Good is that some distant places have a chance for new businesses and jobs, new infrastructure that they wouldn't even dream of. In this way successfully communities are growing and even attracting new members. Museums, like in many cases municipal or governmental institutions, were amongst the latter to join the game, but anyway they did. I would hate to offend them in this short review because I really appreciate their deeds and their existence. But now I suppose museums must be divided into 2 big parts: educational and entertaining. Educational museums are made and run in a classical way, gathering hard works and findings of the scientists and enthusiasts and exposing them to the colleagues and the public. Entertaining museums are just for a fun, they show some many times non-valuable things to the people dressed in sneakers, wearing rucksacks and cameras. They charge quite a bit and spread the exposition along as much space as possible to make a feeling of a big museum. But, again, it is absolutely fine that they exist because they may feed those poorer and boring siblings serving the science and arts.
