A Leica on high: Hans Georg Esch captures exciting panoramic views of China with the help of a drone. See here the making of video.

To shoot his urban panoramas, Hans Georg Esch has always favoured the elevated vantage point of hills or tall buildings. Now, he has opened up a whole new range of possibilities with his ‘flying tripod’: a precision drone carrying his Leica S, custom-fitted with a microscope camera within the viewfinder for transmitting images to a monitor on the ground.
