Around four years ago, the mirrorless Leica SL instigated a revolution within the world of professional camera systems. This story of success was expanded on in the autumn of 2019: in questions of handling, sensor size and flexibility, the SL's successor, the Leica SL2, set the bar many levels higher.
To celebrate the newcomer, we reached out to our community of the LFI.Gallery asking members to submit the best pictures they've taken with any camera belonging to the SL family. The outcome reveals an amazing range of application possibilities: from portrait photography and broad landscapes, to surreal imagery and detail-rich scenarios, the Leica SL is more than able to convey each photographer's reality into precise images.
We want to sincerely thank all the participants, and take this opportunity to launch the next challenge: on this occasion, you're invited to submit your best black and white pictures – people, animals, architecture or landscapes. There are no limits to your creativity, as we celebrate monochrome photography at the LFI.Gallery over the coming weeks!
