Der Fluss ist – neben dem Mekong und dem Saluen – der größte und wichtigste Fluss Thailands. Aufgrund seiner historischen Bedeutung wird er auch häufig River of Kings genannt. Sobol fotografierte Menschen, die am und mit dem Fluss leben. Die Pariser Galerie zeigt außerdem noch vom 11. März bis 21. Mai 2016 Sobols Ausstellung „Arrivals and Departures“.
