A jury of international industry experts will review all entries, and compile a shortlist of up to 35 projects. This year’s judges are Louise Fedotov-Clements (Artistic Director QUAD & Director FORMAT International Photography Festival), MaryAnne Golon (Director of Photography, Washington Post) Max Pinckers (photographer and winner of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2018), and Thyago Nogueira (Head of the Contemporary Photography Department at Instituto Moreira Salles and editor of ZUM magazine).
A total sum of £15,000 (approx. €17,000) will be awarded to four winners. All shortlisted projects will be showcased as light projections at the Cortona On The Move Festival (Italy), Just Another Photo Festival (India), and the OBSCURA Festival of Photography (Malaysia). The ‘Generation Prize’ for photographers under thirty also includes a four-hour online consultancy. In addition, the PHmuseum curators will choose four participants for a one-hour portfolio review.
