Leica Gallery Salzburg presents a group exhibition of works by three outstanding Leica Oskar Barnack Award photographers. The showcase opens on 12 July 2018.
From 12 July to 4 August, Leica Gallery Salzburg presents a group exhibition of works by Jan Grarup, Jing Huang and Patrick Willocq, all of whom have successfully participated in past editions of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.

Established in 1980, the prestigious award – which is named after the ingenious inventor of the 35mm camera – is given out annually to professional photographers, as well as one newcomer under 25. Participants are asked to submit a series comprising a minimum of ten, but no more than 12 images, with a particular focus on observing and conveying the relationship between man and his surroundings.

Karin Rehn-Kaufmann, Art Director of Leica Galleries International, has been a jury member since 2008, and has significantly contributed to the competition’s development.
