May 29, 2018

The 15th edition of the Auckland Festival of Photography dedicates several of its exhibitions to the topic of ‘Control’.
This year’s edition of New Zealand’s leading art festival takes place from 31 May to 22 June. For the 15th time, the Auckland Festival of Photography turns the country’s largest city into a vibrant hub of internationally acclaimed photography.

While 12 of the festival’s showcases are specifically dedicated to the topic of ‘Control’, the programme also features 18 core exhibitions, which are displayed at the Silo Park in the city’s Wynyard Quarter. Further highlights include 17 Talking Culture events with participants such as Maggie Steber, Alejandro Chaskielberg and Herlinde Koelbl. In addition, 47 satellite exhibitions give visitors the chance to expand their festival experience to the surrounding area.
