The International Photo Journalism Festival will take place from 27 August to 11 September 2016.
The International Photo Journalism Festival will take place from 27 August to 11 September 2016. In particular, photographers, editors, journalists and publishers from around the world will head for Perpignan in the south of France, for the Pro Week from 29 August to 4 September.

Over 20 photo exhibitions present the whole range of photojournalism – from historic series to current reportages. Numerous Leica photographers are among those on display. In Fractured State Dominic Nahr documents the current political situation in South Sudan, which since the division of the country falls increasingly along the lines of ethnic borders.

With Paco – a Drug Story, Valerio Bispuri examines drug consumption in South America, Peter Bauza’s Copacabana Palace reports on the occupation of never-completed apartment complexes in Brazil, and classic photos of Central America by Marc Riboud are on display: Cuba shows a selection from the series he took on the communist island state back in 1963.
