Bernheimer Fine Art of Lucerne, Switzerland, presents seven positions of travel, nature and landscape photography. Through 21 January, 2017.

‘The World Is A Book and Those Who Do Not Travel Read Only One Page’ (St. Augustinus) is the title of the present show at Bernheimer Fine Art in Lucerne.
On display will be works by seven artists who recorded unique works on all continents of the world with their cameras.

For the first time in Lucerne we will be showing photographs of the Italian artist Mirella Ricciardi, born in Kenya in 1931. Inspired by the surroundings of her early childhood on Lake Naivasha she photographed the six tribes of Kenya already in the 1950s and 1960s.

The exhibition further presents unique works by Sebastian Copeland, depicting the eternal ice of the North and South poles, Silke Lauffs’ and Michael Kenna’s pictoresque landscape photographs reaching from Europe to India, South Asia and South Africa as well as fascinating nature photography from many parts of the world by the German photographer Mat Hennek. Additional works by Jan C. Schlegel and Nick Brandt.
