SL Firmware Update

With the release of the Leica Image Shuttle 3.5, the Leica Tethered Plug-in 1.1.0 and the new firmware 2.2, Leica are offering updates for the mirrorless SL camera system which will further enhance the system’s professional workflow. The new Leica Image Shuttle 3.5 now makes this feature available to Windows users, while for Mac users the functions have been improved. In addition, the shutter limit in conjunction with 6-bit coded M lenses has been removed. The issue of missing EXIF data in combination with Leica lens adapters has also been remedied.

Registered camera owners are able to download the software updates after logging into Leica Owner’s Area. Alternatively, the camera can be updated in the course of a free service available at Leica Stores.
