Inspired by Alessandro Baricco’s novel Novecento, the photographer spent four years documenting the work and leisure areas aboard these ships – focusing on the spaces themselves, without depicting any people. Fascinated by the reality of an everyday life within these small, autonomous worlds floating on the oceans, Camellini explores the way in which these spaces are organised.
