The Society for Humanist Photography will be hosting a series of workshops for Berlin-based photographers, starting with a workshop by Mauro Bedoni on 27 and 28 May.
The Society for Humanist Photography in Berlin will be hosting a series of workshops, priced at just 50 euros for each event. The programme is subsidised by the European Social Fund (ESF) of Berlin County, which is why participation is restricted to photographers living in Berlin.

The series kicks off on 27 and 28 May (11.00 to 18.00) with a Portfolio and Presentation workshop held by Mauro Bedoni. The most important means of presentation for documentary and fine-art photography projects (analogue and digital) will be introduced and critically appraised in relation to the participants' own work. Closely supported by the workshop leader, photographers will be able to develop a concept for the most suitable means of presenting their work to art and cultural institutions, curators and potential? clients.

Mauro Bedoni studied photojournalism at the University of Padua. In 2007 he became the photo editor for COLORS, the international magazine of Fabrica (Communications Research Centre of the Benetton Group). In 2015, he worked as a freelance photo editor on the '100 Most Influential People 2016' issue of TIME magazine. He is also widely sought-after as a jury member and expert of portfolio reviews at international festivals.
