In October 2016, the photographer collective Colectivo Mas Uno organised the #20FotógrafosMéxico convention in Mexico, in collaboration with the Cuatro Caminos Photography Museum. Around 80 photographers, photography students and experts from Europe, Latin America and the United States, came together for the one-week event. Among them were Leica photographers Misha Vallejo, Oscar B. Castillo, Federico Rios and Gerald Kurt, as well as LFI photo editor Carol Körting.

The event took place in Tlacotalpan in the State of Veracruz. Due to its mixture of Spanish and Caribbean traditions in its culture, architecture and music, the small town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The participants explored the city with excursions to its reservations and cultural monuments. The outcomes were shared in joint conferences, workshops and portfolio reviews and presented in video format.

Here is a selection of the outcomes. Further information and images can be found at: www.fotomuseo.mx and www.colectivomasuno.com.
