Gaisberg Races 2016

From May 26 to 28, 2016, the Gaisberg Races for historic cars will take place in Salzburg for the 14th time. Leica Camera AG is once again a partner of the traditional event for vintage car lovers and motor sports fans.

On the opening day, May 26, all participants are invited to the Leica Brunch at Schloss Hellbrunn, where Leica photographers will be taking portrait shots of the drivers within the castle setting. They will later receive a copy within the framework of the award ceremony at the end of the Gaisberg Races. In addition, Leica will have a stand on location where it will present its product portfolio.

Furthermore, Leica Camera AG in collaboration with the Leica Gallery in Salzburg is once again launching a photo competition focussed on the most beautiful Classic Car Photo. The competition has two categories: Smartphone and Camera, with a prize going to the best picture in each of the two categories. The first prize for the Camera section will be a high-performance camera with high-speed lens, a Leica D-Lux. The best shot in the Smartphone category will receive a Huawei P9.
